L.A. GUNS Bassist: 'I Am In Shock' About What Has Happened In New Orleans

September 5, 2005

L.A. GUNS bassist Adam Hamilton has issued the following message regarding the destructive power of Hurricane Katrina and the devastation it has wreaked on New Orleans:

"I am in shock about what has happened. Britt, Nikole, and all our friends who live in and around New Orleans, we are thinking about you and hope everyone is safe. To see this happen to a place that I love and have friends and family in is unbelievalbe. Thanks for checking in and letting us know you guys made it out safe. Being from Louisiana, it breaks my heart. I know the rest of the band feels the same way. Keep us posted and update us when you can. Let all of us know what we can do to help. I am contacting promoters in Los Angeles to see if they will help with a benefit. Our thoughts are with you guys and everyone in New Orleans and surrounding areas affected."
