LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE To Appear At Sounds2move.de Fifth Anniversary Party

March 28, 2008

German gothic rockers LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE will appear at the fifth-anniversary party of the metal magazine Sounds2move.de on April 5 at the Kornhaus in Hnfeld, Germany. The Munich-based band will be available for a signing session at the Sounds2move.de infodesk to support its upcoming album, "Songs for the Last View" (to be released in May).

Sounds2move.de founder Markus Rutten said in a statement: "It's a great pleasure for us to have our long-time friends with us that night, celebrating the fifth anniversary of our still-100%-independent mag. MAYBE there will be some brand new LACRIMAS stuff that night who knows?"

The show will also serve as the official warm-up event for the German festival Wacken Open Air, which will be held in early August.

The follow-up to "Filthy Notes for Frozen Hearts", "Songs for the Last View" was once again produced by John Fryer (HIM, NINE INCH NAILS) and marks the band's first recording with singer Rob Vitacca who joined the band last summer. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Shadow I Once Kissed", "A Pearl", "Sacrificial Lamb" and "Oceans" (working title).
