LAKE OF TEARS: New Album Samples Posted Online

June 4, 2004

Sweden's LAKE OF TEARS have uploaded two MP3 clips from their upcoming album, "Black Brick Road", at their official web site. The tracks available for download are "The Greymen" (mp3) and "Making Evenings" (mp3).

The follow-up to 2002's "The Neonai", "Black Brick Road" will feature cover artwork by Kristian Wåhlin, who has painted all of the previous LAKE OF TEARS covers except "Forever Autumn" (1999). Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Black Brick Road", "Crazyman" and "A Trip With The Moon". A summer release through Noise Records is expected.

As previously reported, LAKE OF TEARS have been confirmed for the Rock The Nations Open Air Festival 2004, a three-day event set to take place July 2-4 in Istanbul, Turkey. Other groups set to appear at the festival include PAUL DI'ANNO, U.D.O., PAIN OF SALVATION, CIRCLE II CIRCLE, BLAZE, DESTRUCTION, SENTENCED, HATEBREED and MARDUK.
