LAKE OF TEARS Schedule Romanian Gig

November 16, 2005

Sweden's LAKE OF TEARS have posted the following message on their official web site:

["There's been rumours about a Romanian gig for quite a while now, and here it is: LAKE OF TEARS will play at the Palace Hall in Bucharest on Friday the 10th of March 2006! Details about tickets, preordering etc will come up as the date draws closer. More info on the venue can be found here."

As previously reported, LAKE OF TEARS recently inked a deal with Dockyard 1, the new company formed by Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (IRON SAVIOR). The group's seventh full-length album is expected next spring/summer.

LAKE OF TEARS' most recent album, "Black Brick Road", was released in August 2004 through Noise Records. The follow-up to 2002's "The Neonai" featured cover artwork by Kristian Wåhlin, who has painted all of the previous LAKE OF TEARS covers except "Forever Autumn" (1999).

LAKE OF TEARS are scheduled to perform at Trägårn in Borås, Sweden on December 2.
