LAMB OF GOD To Return To Australia In April

After a phenomenal reception on the recent tour with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, American metal flag-bearers LAMB OF GOD will return to Australia for a series of headline shows in April. The dates are as follows:

Apr. 27 - Palace Melbourne
Apr. 28 - Arena Brisbane
Apr. 29 - Roundhouse
Apr. 30 - HQ Adelaide
May 01 - Metropolis Fremantle

Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 22 at 9:00 a.m.

As previously reported, LAMB OF GOD has been nominated for a Grammy in the "Best Metal Performance" category for "Redneck", the first single from their acclaimed album "Sacrament".

"Sacrament", which was produced by Machine (CLUTCH, KING CRIMSON, PITCHSHIFTER, EIGHTEEN VISIONS, EVERY TIME I DIE),has sold 161,000 copies in the United States since its August 21, 2006 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

LAMB OF GOD will embark on a headlining American tour in February-April 2007 with modern-day metal traditionalists TRIVIUM, Bay Area metal titans MACHINE HEAD and France's heaviest metal export GOJIRA. (NOTE: MACHINE HEAD will go on **before** TRIVIUM and will perform a 40-minute set every night.)
