LANFEAR To Enter Studio In April

February 28, 2007

German power metallers LANFEAR have issued the following update:

"After a long time working on our new songs for the following yet-untitled album, we're going to enter Dreamscape studios [in Munich, Germany] on April 23, 2007 to start the first recording session.

"We have decided to record the album in two steps! First and foremost there are organizational reasons. Moreover we will work even more precisely and we'll be able to pay more attention to the arrangements. Everybody who now gets the impression that we lean towards a more bombastic style is completely wrong, though! In 2007 LANFEAR don't sound more heavy, soft, slower, faster, more complex or whatever — but more defined!

"There'll be some ear candy for you to listen at the end of May/early June but we still don't know a release date for the album."

LANFEAR's fourth CD, "Another Golden Rage" (2005),was recorded at Dreamscape studios and featured a lyrical theme that was a continuation of the story which began on the title track of 2003's "The Art Effect".
