Last-Ever Art Show In The USA By SEBASTIAN BACH's Late Father

April 23, 2008

Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach has issued the following update:

"For those of you who enjoy the cover artwork by my late father David Bierk on 'Angel Down', 'Slave To The Grind', and the inside artwork on 'Subhuman Race' and 'Bring 'Em Bach Alive!', there is a posthumous David Bierkart show in New York City now until May 6 at the Nancy Hoffman Gallery. My father scheduled these posthumous art shows before he died. The show currently on exhibition in New York is the last-ever David Bierk art show scheduled in the USA.

"My dad was born in 1944 and started showing his art in the Sixties. The finality of this being his last-ever American show is a reality that is very hard for me to accept. From spending my childhood helping dad hang his art on the walls of Canadian art galleries, to realizing that this will be the last chance ever on the planet to see a David Bierk show in the USA, does indeed fill my heart with a heavy sadness, even though I know 'David is watching' and would be so proud of his show up now at the Nancy Hoffman Gallery.

"There is one more remaining scheduled show in September 2008, in Montreal Canada."

Bach is scheduled to perform several shows across Australia and Europe starting in May as well as take part in the "Live, Raw & Uncut Summer Tour 2008" with POISON and DOKKEN, covering 40 cities throughout the USA.
