Late BONHAM Singer's Girlfriend: 'I Feel The World Should Listen To His Beautiful Voice'

March 19, 2008

The longime girlfriend of former BONHAM singer Daniel MacMaster, who passed away on Sunday, March 16 at the age of 39, has released the following statement to former M.E.A.T. magazine publisher Drew Masters:

"Daniel and I have two wonderful children; our son Kaleb will be 8 and our daughter Aryanna is 6.

"On top of his pneumonia that started to get very bad, he FREAKILY got a strep infection which entered into his blood stream. We all come in contact with this particular germ or virus daily, but it usually presents itself as strep throat and doesn't usually get into your blood stream and viciously attack your body.

"I don't know why this has happened. I don't know why Daniel kept getting cold after cold except to tell you he was a truck driver long hauling and he was a hard worker. When he came home he would work on his music when he was not hanging out with the kids.

"Daniel has a page on iLike and some of his newer songs are there if you would like to listen to them. I feel the world should listen to his beautiful voice. It is what he would have wanted."

The funeral for Daniel MacMaster will be held on Thursday, March 20 at the Blake Funeral Chapel, located at 200 May Street South in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. There will be a viewing starting at 12:30 p.m. and then a service at 1:30 p.m.

MacMaster died in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center in Thunder Bay. He was in the hospital less than 24 hours before he passed away.
