LAYNE STALEY's Biography To Be Made Available In Spanish
April 25, 2008Argentinean journalist/author Adriana Rubio's biography of late ALICE IN CHAINS frontman Layne Staley, titled "Layne Staley: Get Born Again", will be translated into Spanish. According to a press release, the Spanish version "will contain material related to the upcoming movie 'Get Born Again'. The book will include updated stories and new amazing revelations that are not in the English version. Somehow, these stories are the main key of the screenplay!"
Layne Staley died in April 2002. He was once on top of the music world as the lead singer for ALICE IN CHAINS and MAD SEASON. "Layne Staley: Get Born Again" is filled with exclusive interviews with his mother, Nancy, his sister, Liz, and Layne himself, as he broke his five-year public silence just months before his death. The book also includes pictures from Layne's childhood, drawings, poetry and a lot more.
Rubio was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a member of "The Latin American Journalists Federation" (FELAP) and also of "The Union Press Workers of Buenos Aires" (UTPBA). She is an investigative journalist who has published three books in the United States: "Dave Mustaine: Are you Ready to Take the Risk?" (Vantage Press),"Layne Staley: Angry Chair" (Xanadu Enterprises) and "Jim Morrison Ceremony" (ARTS Publications).
