LEATHERWOLF Complete Work On New Album

January 21, 2006

Vocalist Wade Black of the legendary Southern California metal stalwarts LEATHERWOLF (also ex-CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES) has sent the following update to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"We are finallizing label/distro on who will be in on up-and-comings for new year. Finally the new LEATHERWOLF record was just finished. Mr. Dean (Cohiba) Roberts has just gotten back from his Euro trip with the goods! Mixed and mastered at Jacob Hanson's studio in Denmark (newest ROB ROCK release 'Holy Hell'). Great production [and] very well-written and -arranged record (thanks to Geoff Gayer). We hope it will be the biggest release for the band to date. We also look very forward to our Europe plans, which include Bang Your Head (10th year showing!!) festival and a few other things up our sleeves while we are there!"

As previously reported, LEATHERWOLF have uploaded audio samples of several new album tracks at their official web site. The tracks available for preview include "Disconnect", "King of the Ward", "Dr. Wicked", "I Am the Law" and "Behind the Gun". Check them out at www.leatherwolfmusic.com.

LEATHERWOLF's new album was recorded by Joe Floyd, who has previously worked with HALFORD ("Resurrection" and "Crucible") and BRUCE DICKINSON ("Accident of Birth" and "The Chemical Wedding").
