LEATHERWOLF To Be Rejoined By Bassist PAUL CARMAN For BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Festival

May 8, 2006

California metallers LEATHERWOLF have announced that former longtime bassist Paul Carman will rejoin the fold for the band's appearance at the Bang Your Head!!! Festival in Germany on June 23. Pat Guyton (ex-HAIL MARY, SHOTGUN MESSIAH) will handle bass duties at both L.A. area warm-up shows. Pete Perez (RIOT, SPASTIC INK) is the featured bassist on the group's forthcoming album "World Asylum".

"We would like to thank Pete for his contributions on the new album — he is a great guy and an awesome bass player", said guitarist Geoff Gayer. "At the same time we are pleased to announce that Paul Carman and a good friend of ours, Pat Guyton, have both agreed to step in and kick out the jams with us at these June shows. Pat's a local Orange County guy who's practically part of the LEATHERWOLF family having played in HAIL MARY with me and co-writing 'Tools of Discipline', the Japanese bonus track on our new record. He should fit like a glove and we're looking forward to getting into rehearsal mode very soon here."

LEATHERWOLF's forthcoming album, "World Asylum", featuring new vocalist Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES) and guitarist Eric Halpern (ex-DESTINY'S END, HELSTAR),alongside Pete Perez and original members, Geoff Gayer and drummer Dean Roberts, is set for a June 21 Japanese release via King Records and June 23 through Massacre Records in Europe. Two songs off "World Asylum""Derailed" and "Dr. Wicked (Rx O.D.)", have been uploaded at this location.

Jun. 15 - Galaxy - Santa Ana, CA
Jun. 17 - Paladino's - Tarzana, CA
