LEAVES' EYES Guitarist Checks In From Nebraska

November 22, 2006

LEAVES' EYES guitarist Thorsten Bauer has checked in from the group's North American tour as the support act for BLIND GUARDIAN:

"I am writing to you from Nebraska, just on the way to the next show in Minneapolis. Two days ago we have still been in Mexico playing at the Monterrey Metal Fest. It was great to meet some old friends there like the guys from DEICIDE, OBITUARY and CATHEDRAL. And the Mexican people are very warmhearted and enthusiastic as well. I am sorry for the technical problems during our show that were not our fault. The electricity on stage broke down several times. Due to that we had a couple of intermissions and couldnt even play 'Elegy' in the end. Anyway we are looking forward to new gigs in Mexico to give all the Mexican fans a full power LEAVES' EYES show."

LEAVES' EYES is the the German/Norwegian band formed by ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of ATROCITY (who are fronted by Liv's husband Alexander Krull). The band will support KAMELOT on a European tour beginning late March.

LEAVES' EYES will begin production of its first DVD around Christmas time. The as-yet-untitled disc will include a complete movie with a lot of interesting background information. Moreover, the band is planning an indoor and an outdoor show with special stage and show elements exclusively for the DVD. More information will be made available soon.

LEAVES' EYES' latest EP, "Legend Land", recently entered the German chart at position No. 75. The EP was released in North America on July 28 via Napalm Records.
