LEAVES' EYES Making Final Preparations For DVD Shoot

October 16, 2007

LEAVES' EYES — the German/Norwegian band formed by ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of ATROCITY (who are fronted by Liv's husband Alexander Krull) — will film its October 20, 2007 concert at the Metal Female Voices Fest on in Wieze, Belgium for an upcoming DVD. The stage set will feature a Viking ship designed by LEAVES' EYES tech Leebee. A picture of the ship under construction can be viewed at this location. A tentative March 2008 release is expected,

Commented Liv: "In a few days we will be ready for Wieze, Belgium. The last three weeks have been incredibly busy. Yesterday we practiced for the first time on and around the almost completely finished Viking ship. It was amazing to feel and observe how it underlines and fullfills the conceptual and also live ideas of LEAVES' EYES. Stefan Liebhauser, our lighting guy who also constructed the ship, has prepared an amazing video show which will serve as background in our performance. We are going to show you what we recorded in Norway a few weeks ago, and much more. Tomorrow I will drive to Karlsruhe (Germany) to see how my new dress is fitting me. You will see the final result on Saturday. See you at the Metal Female Voices Fest 2007!"

LEAVES' EYES' latest EP, "Legend Land", entered the German chart at position No. 75.

"Legend Land" was released in North America on July 28, 2006 via Napalm Records.
