LED ZEPPELIN Guitar Legend Joins MARTY FRIEDMAN On Japanese TV Show

According to a posting on former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman's official web site, LED ZEPPELIN guitar legend Jimmy Page joined Marty in Japan for the taping of a new episode of "Eigo De Shabera Night", NHK's hit program which Marty is a regular guest on. The show will be broadcast on February 25.

In other news, Marty has completed recording on his eighth solo album and is back in Japan overseeing the final mixing and mastering.

Marty Friedman recently landed a role in a major motion picture in Japan. The movie, called "Gugudatte Neko Dearu", stars Koizumi Kyoko and is slated for a 2008 release. Marty began filming his parts in September and wrapped work on the project in December.

Friedman released the "Exhibit B - Live in Japan" DVD and "Exhibit A - Live in Europe" CD simultaneously in Japan on August 22 by Avex. These feature different setlists, but with the same band members: Jeremy Colson (drums),Ron Jarzombek (WATCHTOWER, SPASTIC INK; guitar) and Chris Catero (bass).
