LEFT TO VANISH Signs With LIFEFORCE RECORDS AMERICA

March 5, 2008

Lifeforce Records America has announced the signing of Philadelphia's LEFT TO VANISH.

According to a press release, "LEFT TO VANISH's sound builds upon their rich Philadelphia heritage and sets out to expand upon the current extreme metal and hardcore sounds of today to create intricate, groove oriented brutality. Being around for four years now, LEFT TO VANISH has gone through many hardships and line up changes but has remained extremely focused and definitely gelled to form the powerhouse that they are today. Consisting of Keith Knolan (vocals),Sean Salm (guitars),Kevin Salm (guitars),Paul Meredith (drums) and Bryan Little (bass),LEFT TO VANISH are highly determined and set to destroy. Combining elements of ambient guitars over thick cut riffs, LEFT TO VANISH hopes to define a new genre of metal for their upcoming Lifeforce Records America debut, 'Versus The Throne', due out July 22."

Commented Sean Salm of LEFT TO VANISH: "We are so stoked to get the chance to work with Lifeforce and be among such an amazing roster. Bands that we have looked up to for years have grown and worked with Lifeforce. We are currently in the midst of recording and we can assure you it's a masterpiece in the works. All of us cannot wait to get back on the road and release this record!"

Drew Juergens of Lifeforce Records America added: "I am extremely excited to be working with LEFT TO VANISH. They have proven to be exceptionally focused and have done a lot of leg work on their own to get their name out there. Their new material is not only stellar but jaw dropping, almost like a mixture of newer BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME and A LIFE ONCE LOST, but not derivative in the least with a true sense of self and forward-thinking progression!"

You can hear a rough version of the new track "Lauftanza Heist" from "Versus The Throne" on the LEFT TO VANISHMySpace page.
