LEGENDA AUREA Parts Ways With Singer, Announces Replacement

Singer Claudia Hofer has left the Swiss symphonic metal band LEGENDA AUREA "because of medical reasons." A replacement vocalist in the shape of Simone Christinat (ex-FELONY) has already been found.

LEGENDA AUREA was scheduled to enter Fascination Street Studio (OPETH, SYMPHONY X, PAIN OF SALVATION, AMON AMARTH) in Örebro, Sweden on October 6 to begin recording its sophomore album, "Ellipsis", for an early 2009 release via Twilight Zone Records.

LEGENDA AUREA's full-length debut, "Sedna", came out in 2007.
