LEGION OF THE DAMNED, BURDEN OF GRIEF Confirmed For Germany's METAL BASH

LEGION OF THE DAMNED and BURDEN OF GRIEF have been confirmed for the Metal Bash open-air festival, set to take place July 27-28 in Neu Wulmstorf, Germany (near Hamburg). Also scheduled to appear are KNEIPENTERRORISTEN, V8 WANKERS, MINOTAUR, PARAGON, REIFENSTAHL, SCORNAGE, CUSTARD, POWERSLAVE, CLAUSTROFOBIA and GODS OF HATE.

LEGION OF THE DAMNED recently entered the German national album chart at position No. 54 with its second album, "Sons of the Jackal" (Massacre Records).

The follow-up to 2006's "Malevolent Rapture", "Sons of the Jackal" was recorded at Stage One studio in Bühne, Germany with producer Andy Classen. The songs from the CD — "Diabolist" and "Sepulchral Ghoul" — can be streamed via the band's official MySpace page.

LEGION OF THE DAMNED has been confirmed as the support act for the first three weeks of the European co-headlining tour featuring Germany's KREATOR and Switzerland's CELTIC FROST.
