LEMMY, SLASH Statue Erections Up For Consideration

According to This Is Staffordshire, a petition has been launched to recognize the achievements of former GUNS N' ROSES/current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash and MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy by putting up statues in their honor in Stoke-on-Trent, a city in Staffordshire, England,

Slash and Lemmy were both born in Stoke-on-Trent before going on to achieve success across the world with their bands.

A petition signed by 318 supporters was presented to the city council last month and was referred to the economic development overview and scrutiny committee.
