LIGEIA: New Song Posted Online

Massachusetts-based band LIGEIA has posted the title track of its forthcoming sophomore full-length album, "Bad News", on its MySpace page. Due on August 5 via Ferret Music, the CD was produced by Ken Susi of UNEARTH.

Todd Cardini of HeavyMetalSource.com conducted an interview with Keith Holuk (vocals) and Ryan Ober (guitar) of LIGEIA at this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, which took place last month at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. Watch the seven-minute clip below.

Formed in 2004, LIGEIA features Keith Holuk (vocals),Ryan Ober (guitar),Brandon Whipple (bass) and Nick Neumeister (drums). The band's sound integrates post-hardcore melodies and metal grit.

LIGEIA has toured with such artists as HASTE THE DAY, SCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS, MISERY SIGNALS, SINCE BY MAN, SCARLET, DEAD TO FALL, FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW and AUGUST BURNS RED.
