LILLIAN AXE Announce New Singer

September 4, 2004

Long-running hard rockers LILLIAN AXE have announced the addition of singer Derrick LeFevre to the group's ranks.

"I have known Derrick for over 10 years and he has been the vocalist for many good local bands," LILLIAN AXE guitarist Steve Blaze said in a statement. "He is a true star, but just hasn't had his break yet. He has been a huge fan of LILLIAN AXE for years. His enthusiasm is unbelievable. We have already recorded 3 of the 11 songs for the album with him and I am thrilled about the way the songs have emerged. Not only will fans be impressed with his approach to the new material, but his performance on the existing songs is a great tribute to the performance of [previous singer] Ron Taylor. You'll have to hear it to believe it.

"I would like to thank all of our fans worldwide for their support, belief, and patience as we prepare to take the next step forward in LILLIAN AXE history. Derrick is highly enthused about the prospect of touring worldwide and meeting the fans. We anticipate completion of the album by year's end. Michael T. Ross, keyboardist for ANGEL and HARDLINE, will be guest appearing on the album as well. We are very excited about having him perform on our album. We anticipate much more touring in 2005 in support of the album, tentatively titled 'Waters Rising'."
