LIMP BIZKIT To Play Invitation-Only Concert In New York
July 11, 2003LIMP BIZKIT will play an invitation-only concert at New York's Webster Hall Wednesday (July 16) that will be broadcast on AOL for Broadband's "BroadBAND Rocks!" concert series, according to Billboard. The concert will be the fourth live broadcast for the series, which makes archival concert performances available on a weekly basis for AOL for Broadband users.
The show will be streamed starting at 9 p.m. ET for AOL for Broadband users at AOL Keyword: Broadband Rocks. Additionally, it will be available on-demand for one week.
As previously reported, LIMP BIZKIT's next studio effort is tentatively due in early September through Flip/Interscope Records. The as-yet-untitled album seemed ready for release in May, but after BIZKIT finally named Mike Smith (ex-SNOT) as the replacement for guitarist Wes Borland, the group scrapped the finished tracks and began working on new material.
