LINEA 77 Crack Italian Top 10

October 18, 2005

According to Earache Records, LINEA 77 entered the Italian national album chart two weeks ago at No. 9 with their latest album, "Available for Propoganda". The CD was the highest placed new entry, beating off challenges from H.I.M.'s "Dark Light" (No. 10),CRAZY FROG's "Crazy Hits" (No. 14) and OPETH's "Ghost Reveries" (No. 52).

After touring extensively in support of their 2003 release, "Numb", the band spent time in the U.S. at Paramount/Ameraycan Studios in Los Angeles (famous for hosting LED ZEPPELIN, JIMI HENDRIX, CYPRESS HILL and TOOL, to name just a few) working with producer Dave Dominguez (ADEMA, ORGY, PAPA ROACH, POWERMAN 5000, STAIND). Mastering was done by Dave Collins, who has overseen the sound for records by ALICE COOPER, BLACK SABBATH, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and SOUNDGARDEN, among others.

LINEA 77 are currently on an endless run of dates in their native land as well as doing massive radio and TV stints by popular demand. The band also represent Italy on the recently released FIFA 06 game from Electronic Arts. "Inno All’Odio" lines up alongside 39 tracks from around the globe from the likes of OASIS, EMBRACE and JAMIROQUAI.
