LINKIN PARK Frontman Waiting For Right Time To Issue Side Project Album

May 15, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports: LINKIN PARK frontman Chester Bennington debuted his side project, DEAD BY SUNRISE, last Saturday night (May 10) in Tempe, Arizona at the 13th anniversary celebration of the Club Tattoo franchise that he co-owns. Bennington has been working on DEAD BY SUNRISE's first album for a while now, but says he's waiting for the right time to put it out. "The record's basically almost done, the music's really good, but I don't want to force my solo thing and interfere with anything LINKIN PARK is doing," he said. "So when there's a window of opportunity, I'm gonna take it."

Bennington is slated to make several personal appearances at Nordstrom department stores to promote the spring 2008 collection from his recently launched clothing line, Ve'cel.

The singer will appear this Friday (May 16) at the Nordstrom in the Aventura Mall in Aventura, Florida between 5 and 8 p.m., followed on Saturday (May 17) by an appearance at the Nordstrom NorthPark Center in Dallas between 4 and 7 p.m.

The Ve'cel line is also sold through all four Club Tattoo outlets.

LINKIN PARK will kick off this year's Projekt Revolution tour on July 16 in Boston. ASHES DIVIDE, CHRIS CORNELL and THE BRAVERY will join the headliners on the main stage, while the Revolution Stage will feature ATREYU, HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS, 10 YEARS, ARMOR FOR SLEEP and STREET DRUM CORPS.
