LINKIN PARK, HIM Performances To Be Streamed Live Today

August 22, 2007

The Projekt Revolution concert tour stop at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan will be streamed as a MySpace LIVE! event on August 22, 2007 starting at 1:30 p.m. PST. As one of the official sponsors of the Projekt Revolution concert series, taking place this summer across the country, NowWhat will host the stream of the concert on its MySpace profile. The concert will feature artists including LINKIN PARK, HIM, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, TAKING BACK SUNDAY and others. Matt Pinfield, an MTV and music industry veteran, is slated to host the six-hour concert stream — the longest live stream in MySpace history.

MySpace LIVE!, a MySpace offering which brings select live events to the MySpace community via streaming online video, will give MySpace users watching at home the opportunity to submit real-time messages through an on-site message ticker. The streaming of this concert is the third in a series of MySpace LIVE! events, with previous online streamed concerts having featured DJ Paul Oakenfold and Grammy award-winning rapper T.I.

In a MySpace LIVE! first, five fans at the Projekt Revolution concert, armed with cell phones, will take video footage of the concert which will be incorporated into the live stream on MySpace. The phones let anyone with a compatible cell phone stream live video from their phone to the Internet with a press of a button.
