LINKIN PARK Plans Long-Term Support For 'Minutes'

The Pulse of Radio (formerly Launch Radio Networks) reports: LINKIN PARK brought this summer's Projekt Revolution tour to a close earlier this week in Denver, but the band is only just getting started with its promotion of the recently released "Minutes to Midnight" album. Singer Chester Bennington told The Pulse of Radio that LINKIN PARK has a long-range plan to support the record. "I think this time around we're really just gonna try to tour as much as we can on this record," he said. "We have a lot of material to work with and, you know, our sets are gonna be very diverse and things like that. So, you know, we'll take this as far as we can before, you know, we have to go back in and make another record, so I could see a good couple of years out of it, hopefully maybe a little bit more, and, you know, we'll start working on the next record during this process and just keep the ball rolling."

LINKIN PARK will perform at the Summer Stage at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas this Saturday (September 8).

The band is nominated for Best Group, Best Editor and Best Director at the 2007 "MTV Video Music Awards", which will air live at 9 p.m. on MTV this Sunday (September 9) from the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.

A new web site called nowwhat.com is serving as a sort of archive of the Projekt Revolution trek. The site features special content from all the bands on this year's bill, including interviews, concert footage and photos.

The latest single from "Minutes to Midnight" is "Bleed It Out". The album has sold more than 1.6 million copies since its release last May.
