LIZZY BORDEN's MARTEN ANDERSSON Shares His Bass Secrets (Video)

November 16, 2010

Bassist Marten Andersson (LIZZY BORDEN, GEORGE LYNCH) recently visited the Carvin headquarters in San Diego, California. In the clip below, Andersson talks about his new Carvin amps and advise on how to get a great bass tone.

"We are excited to be working with Marten and have him be part of the Carvin amp family," said Richard Cruz of Carvin. "He is a talented bass player and very versatile in the music business. We look forward to seeing his intensity and energy transferring into Carvin amps and our clinics for years to come."

Marten added, "Carvin has created an elite yet affordable bass amp series which allows your sound and playing ability to reach a whole new level without costing you a fortune. It's a big honor to start playing live and recording with Carvin amps."

Marten is the longtime bass player for the hard rock band LIZZY BORDEN, currently touring in support of its latest release, "Appointment with Death", across U.S., Europe and Japan, including festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Sweden Rock, Bang Your Head!!!, Keep it True, Kobetasonic and many more. Marten also took part in five tours with George Lynch, which included a marathon 26 shows in 30 days and a much-talked-about appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno". In addition, Marten's book "Make Label Contact" is widely considered to be a definitive guide for any musician.
