April 30, 2005

Sweden's LORD BELIAL will enter Andy La Rocque's (KING DIAMOND) Los Angered Recording studios in Gothenburg, Sweden on June 13 to begin recording their sixth full-length album, "Nocturnal Beast", tentatively due before the end of the year through Regain Records. "All the songs [are] done; now all that remain is lots of rehearsing, and of course some general touch-ups and improvements," the band write on their web site.

"[At] this very moment, the famous artist Kris Verwimp is painting a cover for the 'Nocturnal Beast'," the group continue. "Additionally with the new logo, LORD BELIAL is going through lots of changes that make it all feel very exciting, as if a new era is rising…

"LORD BELIAL is in contact with the Dutch promotion label Panzer Promotions that now is working hard to put together a headlining European tour later this year."

As previously reported, LORD BELIAL have been confirmed as the headliners of the fourth annual Jalometalli Festival, set to be held August 19-20 in Oulu, Finland. Also scheduled to perform at the festival are EXMORTEM, EMBRAZE, FOR MY PAIN… and OMNIUM GATHERUM, among others.
