LORD BELIAL: Unreleased EP To See The Light Of Day

Swedish black metallers LORD BELIAL will be issuing their previously unreleased 2002 EP, "Scythe of Death", on January 11 through Metal Fortress Entertainment.

According to the group's web site, the material on the mini-CD was recorded in mid-2002 and was originally scheduled for release in the fall of 2002, but "due to a lack of time," this release never happened.

Strictly limited to 1666 copies, "Scythe of Death" contains the following track listing:

01. Scythe of Death
02. Black Void*
03. Possessed by Fire*
04. Purify Sweden (Bonus Track)

*Previously unreleased tracks

To obtain a copy of "Scythe of Death", write to Metal Fortress Entertainment at [email protected]

As previously reported, LORD BELIAL recently entered Los Angered Recording in Angered (Gothenburg), Sweden to begin recording their new album, tentatively titled "The Seal Of Belial". The self-produced effort is being engineered by Nicklas Rudolfsson and Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND), and will be mixed by Andy. A late 2003/early 2004 release through Regain Records is expected.
