LORD VICAR Recording Debut For THE CHURCH WITHIN RECORDS

September 16, 2008

LORD VICAR, the new band featuring members of REVEREND BIZARRE, SAINT VITUS and CENTURIONS GHOST, is currently recording its debut album, "Fear No Pain", tentatively due in November/December via the German doom metal label The Church Within Records.

LORD VICAR is:

Chritus (COUNT RAVEN, SAINT VITUS, TERRA FIRMA) - Vocals
Gareth Millsted (CENTURIONS GHOST, END OF LEVEL BOSS) - Drums
Peter Inverted (REVEREND BIZARRE, ORNE) - Guitar
Jussi "Iron Hammer" Myllykoski - Bass

Commented Peter Inverted: "The rough demos and arrangements have mostly been around for a long time. The first actual noise that will end up in the album were the rhythm guitars for 'Down the Nails', 'Pillars Under Water' and 'The Spartan', which I played in Red House 29th and 30th August. I [also recently] played 12-string acoustic guitar parts to 'Born of a Jackal', 'The Spartan' and 'The Funeral Pyre'. I borrowed a great Joe Meek preamp from Red House and did this at my home studio.

"Milly will hit the studio in Northern Wales for the drums in 28 and 29 September, possibly with Jussi playing most of the basses there as well. Then the band will reunite here in Turku for a HEAVY weekend Red House session in 10th to 12th October."

"Fear No Pain" track listing:

01. Down the Nails
02. Pillars Under Water
03. Born of a Jackal
04. The Last of the Templars
05. The Spartan
06. A Man Called Horse
07. The Funeral Pyre
