May 25, 2006

According to Doteurovision.com, Eurovision Song Contest winners LORDI look set to enjoy a European hit with their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah". Their song is already in the top ten iTunes download chart in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Norway and Portugal. In Finland different remixes of the song occupy four places in the chart. It is currently topping download charts in Sweden, Belgium and Greece. Their album, "The Arockalypse", also sits at the top of the charts in their home country and Germany and is seeing increasing support elsewhere. The song will be released in the U.K. early next month. The track will be available to download and buy in British record shops on June 6. The following week they will appear at the Download Festival in Donington Park. New record deals for the band's albums have been signed with 18 countries, and the intention is to get the CDs into the shops as quickly as possible. LORDI's management is busy confirming summer festival dates and other gigs.
