LULLACRY Are 'Really Excited' About U.S. Tour With NIGHTWISH

July 24, 2004

Finland's LULLACRY have set August 24 as the U.S. release date for their five-track EP, entitled "Fire Within". The CD, which features two new songs, "Fire Within" and "The #1 Rebel", two remakes of classic LULLACRY tracks, as well as a cover version of W.A.S.P.'s "L.O.V.E. Machine", the EP is a sweet taste in anticipation of the band's full-length follow-up to 2003's "Crucify My Heart", tentatively due in January. Download a short MP3 sample of the EP's title track at this location. The lyrics to the song can be viewed here.

In anticipation of their upcoming North American tour with NIGHTWISH, LULLACRY guitarist Sami Vauhkonen had this to say: "We're really excited about the upcoming U.S. tour! We did one show at Milwaukee Metalfest last year and we had a really great time. It's awesome to be coming back again and playing in cities like L.A., New York, San Francisco and so on. We'll definitely show you some Finnish rock attitude. Load your icebox with MGD's 'cause we are thirsty folks, haha! See you on tour & I hope I'll have some time to chat with U.S. LULLACRY fans. Rock on!"
