LULLACRY Land New Vocalist, Prepare To Record Third CD
June 24, 2002Finland's LULLACRY have found a new vocalist to fill their ranks following the recent departure of former singer Tanya.
The similarly-named Tanja "proved herself to be more than a fitting replacement for her predecessor, showcasing the requirements and abilities needed to take the band to the next level in their career," according to an official press release. "Tanja has the right rock attitude, and besides, she's got a hell of a voice", commented main songwriter/guitarist Sami Vauhkonen.
"The process was hard and sometimes very strenuous," Sami added, "but hey, it doesn't matter. We checked out many girls but finally the choice was easy. Tanja proved herself to be definitely the best replacement."
LULLACRY are currently in the process of writing new material for their third full-length album, which will be recorded at Finnvox Studios during September/October under the guidance of producer Mikko Karmila. An early 2003 release through Spinefarm Records is expected.
Among the tracks set to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD are the following:
01. Over Me
02. Darkest Hour
03. Alright Tonight
04. Every Single Day
05. Better Days
06. Crucify My Heart
07. Unchain
