LYDIA LASKA Starts Filming New Video

April 16, 2007

Notorious Norwegian punk rockers LYDIA LASKA have entered the studio to film a video for one of the tracks from their forthcoming "We're Nothing Compared To Ourselves" EP.

Not a band known for its subtlety, the track in question bears the descriptive title of "Love and Penetration". Thomas Lunde and LYDIA LASKA will direct the video, which, according to drummer Voldswagen, will be "a black, rotten, piece of nightmare". With one video already banned from Norwegian television, the results could prove to be interesting.

"We're Nothing Compared To Ourselves" is due to be released in June jointly by Jan Devik's Rock 'n' Roll Music label (CD version) and Duplicate Records (vinyl version). A rough, unmastered, version of "Love and Penetration" and the banned video for "White Trash Attack" can be found on the band's official MySpace page.
