LYNCH MOB Cutting New Tracks, Seeking Record Deal

October 20, 2008

Vocalist Oni Logan of the reactivated rockers LYNCH MOB has issued the following update:

"All is well here in the land of milk and honey. Finally after four months of being away from the family, I am back [home] in Switzerland for a much-needed visit with my daughter and wife.

"Just a little note to all LYNCH MOB fans... it was a pleasure to have shared the stage with George [Lynch; LYNCH MOB guitarist] again after many years... from Rocklahoma through until Jaxx... the last show of the string of dates that were booked for the band after the abrupt cancelation of the CINDERELLA tour. I hope Tom [Keifer; CINDERELLA frontman] is making a good recovery regarding his voice... We also hope that we'll be able to catch up with Tom and the band for a tour in the near future.

"What's happening in the LYNCH MOB camp? We were in the studio last month cutting new tracks for the new LYNCH MOB recording... The idea was to cut only three tracks, though in the end we ended up with seven very solid songs to choose from the list to present to a record label.

"At the moment the idea is to present and generate interest from a record label to release the new LYNCH MOB album.

"I would like to thank everyone for their support and interest. All is going as planned... this lineup of the band that includes Marco Mendoza on bass and Scot Coogan on drums for a rhythm section is very strong indeed.

"Dates? Australia here we come. LYNCH MOB is looking forward to going Down Under."

LYNCH MOB and FASTER PUSSYCAT will team up for an Australian tour in December. The dates are as follows:

Dec. 08 - Perth, AUS - Capitol
Dec. 10 - Melbourne, AUS - The Hi Fi Bar
Dec. 11 - Sydney, AUS - The Metro Theatre (All Ages)
Dec. 12 - Brisbane, AUS - The Arena

XM's Boneyard host Eddie Trunk, who has a long-running radio show, "Friday Night Rocks", on New York's Q104.3 FM, conducted an interview with LYNCH MOB at this year's Rocklahoma festival, which was held July 9-13, 2008 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Watch the three-minute clip below.

Fan-filmed video footage of LYNCH MOB performing the song "Wicked Sensation" at the Rocklahoma festival on Saturday, July 12 in Pryor, Oklahoma can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "johnnyspudgun1").

Sitting behind the drum kit for LYNCH MOB's performance at Rocklahoma was CINDERELLA's Fred Coury, who stepped in for Tommy Aldridge after Tommy answered the call for the drumming duties in THIN LIZZY. Joining him for the set were guitarist George Lynch (ex-DOKKEN),vocalist Oni Logan and bassist Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY)

LYNCH MOB's U.S. tour with CINDERELLA, WARRANT and LYNAM was cancelled after CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer's left vocal cord hemorrhaged during rehearsal, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future.
