LYNCH, PILSON Announce Band Name, GEORGE Continues Vocalist Search

May 15, 2002

Former DOKKEN members George Lynch (guitar) and Jeff Pilson (bass) have set LP as the name of their much-anticipated collaboration, which is currently finishing up work on its 13-song debut CD at a California studio. Once the album has been competed, the duo will be shopping around for a record deal, with the hopes of issuing the as-yet-untitled CD in late 2002.

In other news, George will reportedly continue working on his solo album in the coming months, for which he is currently seeking a hard rock lead vocalist via the Tonos web site. George is seeking a male singer between the ages of 25-40, with an awesome voice, as well as a "dark, moody, mysterious, and intense persona". All interested parties should submit a CD and other relevant materials to Tonos by May 22nd.
