M.A.N Announces New Drummer
November 14, 2006M.A.N, the new band formed out of the ashes of Sweden's TRANSPORT LEAGUE (featuring former MNEMIC frontman Tony Jelencovich),has announced the addition of drummer Andreas Engberg to the group's ranks.
Commented Jelencovich: "Engberg (as we call him!) takes M.A.N to a new level. With his groove [and] technique, the band has never sounded better. We have already written about 6-7 new songs in this short period with Engberg and with no doubt IT SOUNDS KILLER! We will enter Grand Recordings in our hometown of Gothenburg in the beggining of December to do some pre-productions."
Engberg will make his live debut with M.A.N on Wednesday, November 22 at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg, Sweden. The event, dubbed "Gimmick", is said to be the afterparty to the MESHUGGAH clinic taking place on the top floor of the Sticky Fingers club earlier in the evening.
M.A.N's debut CD, "Obey, Consume, Reject", was released in March. The band is still searching for a label to issue the album in North America.
"Obey, Consume, Reject" was recorded and mixed at Grand Recordings in Gothenburg, Sweden by Svein Jensen. The mastering took place at the Mastering Room by Göran Finnberg.
