November 2, 2009Swedish melodic rockers M.ILL.ION have parted ways with keyboardist Johan Bergquist and are currently seeking a replacement.
All appplicants should satisfy the following requirements:
* Recording and touring experience
* Backing vocal capability
* Rock 'n' roll attitude
* Living in, or could move to, the Gothenburg area/western part of Sweden
You can contact the band through www.myspace.com/millionized or send info/biography/photo and music to: [email protected].
M.ILL.ION recently announced the addition of guitarist Andreas Grövle to the group's ranks.
Commented M.ILL.ION founding member and bassist B.J Laneby: "[Andreas is] only 21 so he was a tryout for some time. He's done great, both on tour and in rehearsals, so we asked him to come aboard full time and I think he will suit the band perfectly. I understand he's been a fan and owns all the albums so he knows very well what we're about. Now he can leave the audience and step up on stage, where he belongs! Musically he's got a great tone and a wide register and visually has the look of a true viking!"
M.ILL.ION's sixth studio album, "Thrill Of The Chase", was released in May 2008 via Metal Heaven. The CD was recorded between November 2007 and January 2008. Mixing was done in February at the world-class Bohus Studio (ABBA, STATUS QUO) in Sweden by Tobias Lindell and B.J Laneby.
