July 14, 2008

A 10-minute video clip featuring footage from MÖTLEY CRÜE's July 10, 2008 headlining concert at Sarnia, Ontario, Canada's annual Rogers Bayfest in front of an estimated audience of 17,000 can be viewed below.

According to The Sarnia Observer, Sarnia Police arrested nine male adults Rogers Bayfest, all charged with public intoxication in Centennial Park. Some face additional charges such as trespassing.

"The loud, heavy metal music stirred the crowd into a volatile mood and police were grateful when a brief, passing shower arrived shortly after 10 p.m. to cool things down a bit," said Insp. Ronnie Van Dam in a report issued Friday morning (July 11).

Only one of the arrests occurred after the rain.

There were no criminal complaints but one Sarnia officer was injured during an arrest.
