According to BergProperties.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars has paid $1,460,000 for a 3,603-square-foot home in Malibu, California. The transaction closed on June 1 and was recorded on June 19, according to public records.

Built in 1986, Mars' new house sits on a 0.51-acre lot in the Sea View Estates area of Malibu, according to listing information and public records. The house is one of the largest homes in Sea View Estates, according to listing information. Features in Mars' new house include three and a half baths, a large kitchen that opens to the family room, a formal living room with vaulted ceilings, a formal dining area, an entry with vaulted ceilings, a flat grassy yard and views of the ocean, city lights and mountains, according to listing information.

Despite the fact that the house has a Malibu mailing address, it's actually located more than three miles north of the Pacific Ocean.

Mars' new house had been listed for $1,495,000.
