MÖTLEY CRÜE's 'Crüe Fest 2': More Lineup Leaks/Rumors

March 11, 2009

Tourdesign Creative — a full-service creative agency specializing in audio/visual production, interactive design/development, graphic design, digital media, and marketing — has uploaded what appear to be two radio commercials (one 60 seconds long, one 30 seconds long) advertising this summer's "Crüe Fest 2", MÖTLEY CRÜE's own festival-style package tour. According to the two radio spots, the trek will feature the following lineup:

MÖTLEY CRÜE
GODSMACK
THEORY OF A DEADMAN
DROWNING POOL
CHARM CITY DEVILS

(UPDATE: Since this story was first published on BLABBERMOUTH.NET, the page featuring the two radio commercials has been deleted from the site.)

The web site of a Kansas City radio station recently listed MÖTLEY CRÜE, GODSMACK, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, SAVING ABEL and DROWNING POOL for the August 9 date of this summer's "Crüe Fest 2" in the area. The listing has since been changed to simply read "Crüe Fest".

**Note**: The official lineup has not been announced by the CRÜE or tour organizers and the above information should be treated as a rumor only. The bands will officially be announced on March 16 at a press conference in New York City, the same day that the CRÜE headlines Madison Square Garden on its current arena trek.

"Crüe Fest 2" (the trek is no longer being referred to as "Crüe Fest 2: The White Trash Circus") will hit cities across North America beginning on July 19 in Camden, New Jersey through September 5 in Darien Lake, New York.

A two-disc DVD set containing footage from last year's inaugural edition of MÖTLEY CRÜE's own festival-style package tour "Crüe Fest" is scheduled for release on March 24.

Fan-filmed video footage of MÖTLEY CRÜE's March 8, 2009 concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania can be viewed below (clips uploaded by "rcsguy664").
