MÖTLEY CRÜE's 'Crüe Fest 2: The White Trash Circus': Tour Lineup Revealed?

February 27, 2009

According to the web site of Kansas City's rock station 98.9 The Rock, the August 9 stop of the "Crüe Fest 2: The White Trash Circus" tour at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri will feature the following lineup:

MÖTLEY CRÜE
GODSMACK
THEORY OF A DEADMAN
SAVING ABEL
DROWNING POOL

UPDATE: The graphic/image on the 98.9 The Rock web site has been changed twice since this story was first published on BLABBERMOUTH.NET — first with all the band names except MÖTLEY CRÜE and GODSMACK removed and then again with only Crüe Fest being listed next to the photo of MÖTLEY CRÜE.

***Note: The exact lineup for the trek has not yet been officially announced and the above information should be treated as a rumor only.***

The Live Nation-produced tour will visit cities across North America beginning July 19 in Camden, NJ through September 5 in Darien Lake, NY. Full tour details, including the official lineup, will be revealed at a major press conference broadcast from Fuse TV studios in New York on March 16, before MÖTLEY CRÜE hits the stage at Madison Square Garden that evening.

"Crüe Fest 2" pre-sale tickets are available exclusively to MÖTLEY CRÜE fan club members. Beginning on March 2, pre-sale tickets will be available to the public. Fans can go to www.cruefest2.com for all pre sale information.

As part of the robust integrated marketing and partnerships, the activities surrounding the announcement of this year's lineup and ticket on-sale include launch parties in local venues and in-theater special screenings of a performance documentary on "Crüe Fest 1", which will also be released on DVD on March 24. More details on all of these activities are available at www.motley.com.
