MÖTLEY CRÜE To Appear At 2004 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS Next Month

Billboard.com is reporting that MÖTLEY CRÜE are among the artists confirmed to appear at the 2004 Billboard Music Awards Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast live on Fox. Other acts scheduled to appear are Alicia Keys, DURAN DURAN, Ashlee Simpson, Fantasia, Nick Lachey and Chingy. Stevie Wonder will receive Billboard's Century Award, the magazine's highest honor for creative achievement.

Finalists, additional performers and presenters and the show's host will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Billboard Music Awards honor the No. 1 artists and songs as determined by record sales and radio airplay. Winners are determined by the 2004 year-end charts, which will reflect the weekly Billboard charts published from December 2003 through November 2004.
