MÖTLEY CRÜE: Toronto Show To Go Ahead Despite VINCE NEIL's Broken Foot

September 13, 2012

MÖTLEY CRÜE has released the following statement:

"While [MÖTLEY CRÜE singer] Vince Neil sustained two fractures in his foot during last night's show in Cuyahoga Falls [Ohio],we'd like to let everyone know that this injury will not affect upcoming shows on 'The Tour' with KISS. Tonight's [Thursday, September 13] show in Toronto will go on as planned, though perhaps with a few less high kicks from Mr. Neil. Vince would like to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with well wishes!"

MÖTLEY CRÜE and KISS's tour — dubbed simply "The Tour" — kicked off on July 20 in Bristow, Virginia and is currently scheduled to wrap on September 23 in Hartford, Connecticut. Although the bands are officially co-headlining the tour, MÖTLEY CRÜE is opening for KISS each night.

In July, MÖTLEY CRÜE released "Sex", the first studio track from the band since the June 2008 release of "Saints Of Los Angeles". The song was recorded in part at CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's studio called The Atrium in Calabasas, California.
