As previously reported, MÖTLEY CRÜE will close out the year with a December 31 New Year‘s Eve show in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and then resume touring February 10 in Columbus, Georgia.
Afterward, MÖTLEY CRÜE plan to begin work on their first new studio album since 2000's "New Tattoo", according to Billboard.com. A handful of new songs were included on the compilation "Red, White & Crüe", which debuted in February at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 451,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The band‘s 2005 roadwork has grossed more than $33 million from 84 shows reported to Billboard Boxscore, 40 of them sell-outs.
