MACABRE are in pre-production for their forthcoming studio album, entitled Murder Metal, which will reportedly be “a collection of compositions about very bad people from around the world,” according to a newsletter distributed by the group. “A new song about Fritz Haarman Thee Butcher will be included and will even be sung in German.” In other news, MACABRE's long-out-of-print 1987 release Grim Reality will be remixed this week by Neil Kernon (i.e. CANNIBAL CORPSE, RED HARVEST, QUEENSRYCHE) and will be released later this year on Decomposed Records. The release will feature the new remix and original Decomposed Records version that was limited to 966 copies on vinyl only.
