MACHINE HEAD Featured On This Weekend's 'Rebel Access' TV

January 4, 2008

MACHINE HEAD will be the featured band on this Sunday's (January 6) "Rebel Access" TV, which airs at 10:00 p.m. on Channel 19 all over the Chicagoland area. The entire episode is dedicated to MACHINE HEAD, featuring an exclusive interview with Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel, along with performance footage.

During the interview Phil describes the sound that the band tried to achieve on its latest CD, "The Blackening". "We wanted a truly classic sounding metal record," he said. "MACHINE HEAD is a METAL band, and we wanted to bring all the elements from the five previous releases into this one record." Phil added, "This band is around because of the MACHINE HEAD fans. The fans really kept this band going even when we all felt like giving up. MACHINE HEAD is here today because of the fans we have and we acknowledge that and appreciate it."

"Rebel Access" features a band one week and plays the hardest "in-your-face" music videos in Chicago the next week.
