MACHINE HEAD Puts Out Casting Call For 'Halo' Video

MACHINE HEAD's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"Attention all Bay Area MACHINE HEAD fans! The band will be shooting a video for the song 'Halo' off of their new album 'The Blackening' next Thursday, April 3rd in San Francisco and they want YOU to be a part of it! If you're 20 years of age or younger (no exceptions),live in or around the San Francisco Bay Area and can get yourself to and from the shooting location, you're eligible! Again, the shoot will be on Thursday, April 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in San Francisco, so if you fit the criteria and you can be there for the specified timeframe, e-mail your name and age to [email protected] and you'll receive all of the details!"

MACHINE HEAD garnered the first Grammy nomination of its career for "Aesthetics of Hate", a monstrous track from the critically hailed album "The Blackening", released in March 2007. The song was nominated for "Best Metal Performance" (SLAYER eventually won the award for "The Final Six").
