MADBALL To Tour South America In November

September 28, 2006

Legendary New York hardcore band MADBALL has issued the following update:

"Second trip Down Under in as many years was a great success. We just returned from New Zealand and Australia, and we'd like to take some time out to say thanks....

"Thanks to Dave and Gavin for the New Zealand shows. We played four this time, compared to the three we did last year. It was cool to see how the HC scene has grown there since our first time over. We hope to return soon....

"Then a huge thanks to Graham Nixon from Resist for another awesome Australia run. Also thanks to Baina, Pete, and all the bands we played with. We really had a blast, and we'll make sure to come back next year.

"We'd also like to announce that for the first time since 1998, MADBALL will return to South America. The tour is tenatively scheduled to start around November 9th. Dates will be [announced] soon!!"

MADBALL released their first album for Ferret Music, "Legacy", in August 2005. The band this past spring took part in the European version of the Sounds of the Underground tour alongside CHIMAIRA, UNEARTH, TERROR, ALL THAT REMAINS and MANNTIS.
