MADDER MORTEM's 'Deadlands' Reissued With Bonus Tracks

November 6, 2009

"Deadlands", the 2002 album from Norway's MADDER MORTEM, has been re-released via Peaceville Records. This reissue features two new recordings exclusive to this release in the shape of "The Exile", structured around extras from the writing process from the "Deadlands" era, and "Deadlands Revisited" a spine-tingling re-imagining of the original with violin courtesy of Ingvild "Sareeta" Johannsen from RAM-ZET. Also included are new liner notes by MADDER MORTEM singer Agnete M. Kirkevaag.

Commented the band: "We reccommend you check out this re-release for some seriously bleak, monstrous and heavy songs. After nine years, it still feels as vital and fresh as it did in 2002. With the newly recorded bonus tracks that we are extremely proud of, there should be plenty to dive into."
