MADDER MORTEM Singer Interviewed; Video Available
May 26, 2009Imhotep's Paul Kearns recently conducted an interview with singer Agnete M. Kirkevaag of Norway's MADDER MORTEM. Watch the eight-minute chat below.
MADDER MORTEM shot a video for the new song "Armour" on April 12 in Oslo, Norway. According to the group, the clip "will be a combination of band footage and 2D animation (direction by Arnfinn Moseng and art direction by Negar Bagheri). This'll be something very unusual and beautiful, and very much MADDER MORTEM!"
"Armour" comes off MADDER MORTEM's new album, "Eight Ways", which was released in Europe on May 18 via Peaceville Records. The CD will be issued in North America on June 16.

MADDER MORTEM's previous album, entitled "Desiderata", came out in March 2006 via Peaceville Records. The CD was recorded at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden and at Space Valley Studios. Mastering duties were handled at Strype Audio in Oslo.
